Maj. Gen. Terrence Koudelka

Deputy Adjutant General - Air

Maj Gen Terrence L. Koudelka, Jr. is the Deputy Adjutant General-Air and Commander, Pennsylvania Air National Guard, Fort Indiantown, Gap, Pa. He serves as the primary advisor to The Adjutant General on all matters pertaining to air operations and is responsible for the overall operational readiness of the 4,100 assigned members and ensuring that
they are trained and equipped to successfully accomplish their federal and state missions.

Gen Koudelka entered the United States Air force in 1990 when he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant through
AFROTC Detachment 645. He completed Joint Specialized Undergraduate Navigator Training at both Randolph Air Force
Base (AFB), Texas and NAS Pensacola, Florida. He served nearly 11 years on regular active duty in both staff and flying
assignments as a B-1B Weapons Systems Officer (WSO). Gen Koudelka’s career included participation in numerous combat
operations while flying as aircrew in the B-1B and EC-130. He has deployed to numerous operations to include Operations
SOUTHERN WATCH, ALLIED FORCE, SECURE TOMORROW, IRAQI FREEDOM, and ENDURING FREEDOM. In addition, his
deployed experience includes several tours with US Army maneuver units as a parachutist qualified Air Liaison
Officer/Joint Terminal Attack Controller at the brigade, ​division, and corps level.
