March for the Fallen 2024
Service members from across the state, along with members of the community, honored the memory of fallen men and women during an annually hosted march by the Pennsylvania National Guard and the USO. More than 300 participants engaged in four different races during this year's event.

End of an Era-193rd Special Operations Wing
The 193rd Special Operations Wing recently said farewell to the last of its assigned EC-130J aircraft. This departure marks the end of the unit's information broadcasting era, creating an open horizon for its newest MC-130J aircraft and focus on airdrop and refueling missions.

Hurricane Helene Relief Support-171st Air Refueling Wing
Thirteen guardsmen from the 171st Air Refueling Wing (ARW) travelled to Western North Carolina in support of natural disaster relief after the mass destruction caused by Hurricane Helene. Eleven of these guardsmen, assigned to the 171st ARW's Fatality Search and Recovery Team, were sent after receiving special training to recover victims after mass casualty incidents.

Planting Trees for OPSEC-111th
Not only did the 111th Civil Engineering Squadron do good for the Earth by planting trees at Biddle Air National Guard Base – they also accomplished a task in support of the overall mission. The trees they planted offered operational security for the base, as both a physical barrier and visibility shield.
